FLEXIBILITY

Standard Shapes can be square, round, triangular or an irregular polygon. Cross sections can be rectangular, round, crowned or triangular as long as the one side is flat for metallurgical bonding. Special shapes are available.

Because the metallurgical bonding process requires a controlled atmosphere furnace and careful control of temperatures and heating rates the size of individual " Domite^® Tiles " is limited by the size of the furnace.to 11" ( 280 mm ) on one side. For economy and flatness a good size is 12" x 11" ( 300 mm x 280 mm )

Large liners can be fabricated by welding " Domite^® Tiles " together in a mosaic fashion.

Large liners , subject to less impact, including liners incorporating gentle curves, are manufactured using a elastomer bonding process witha one piece backing plate.

EASY TO INSTALL

The mild steel backing plate allows direct welding to hoppers, chutes, gates, buckets etc. with no special weld rod or preheat requirement. Welds can be intermittent, full perimeter or interior plug welds.

You can use Weld - On Studs and of course the Domite^® can be cored to accept any style of bolt or screw you want to use. Where eliminating field welding is desired, a cast steel backing plate incorporating a contoured shape for mechanical attachment can be designed.
